Justin and Clint Conard will showcase how they have continued and expanded the conservation legacy begun by their grandfather Dale Conard.

Field Day at Valley View Farms

Join us the morning of Friday, October 20th at Valley View Farms in Bloomington, IN with third-generation grain and cattle farmers Justin and Clint Conard. Justin and Clint will showcase the conservation legacy begun by their grandfather Dale Conard and how they have adapted conservation systems on the farm with new information and technology. They will talk about cover crops, no-till farming, and using precision agriculture. They will also demonstrate cover crop seeding using equipment that was modified through a conservation cost-share program.

Toby Days of the Alliance for Indiana Rural Water will speak about the importance of conservation practices for protecting our drinking water sources. Daniel Welage of the Natural Resource Conservation Service will speak about financial opportunities for conservation practices. Enjoy a FREE lunch at the end of the morning.
