City Council Expresses Support for Protecting Lake Monroe

Many thanks to Bloomington City Council Members Susan Sandberg, Dave Rollo, and Jim Sims for expressing the need for the City of Bloomington to play an active role in protecting Lake Monroe.  Below is a link to the February 15th city council meeting.  At about 4 minutes into the meeting, Susan Sandberg spoke about the Friends of Lake Monroe Watershed Summit and the Houston South lawsuit.  About 10 minutes into the meeting, Dave Rollo and Jim Sims spoke about Houston South, algal blooms, and the important work of Friends of Lake Monroe.  Here is a link to the meeting recorded by CATS: https://catstv.net/m.php?q=12126
