Lake Monroe Day - Sunday, September 17, 2023

Monroe County, Jackson County, Brown County, and the City of Bloomington have all issued proclamations declaring Sunday, September 17, 2023 to be “Lake Monroe Day.” These proclamations acknowledge the importance of Lake Monroe to our community, the steps our community has taken to protect the lake, and the ongoing work of Friends of Lake Monroe.

Join us for Lake Monroe Day on Sunday, September 17th with events take place all week September 14-21. Hike, bike, paddle, preserve, and celebrate!
