June Birding Paddle
June 27 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
This June 27 event is FULL!
Note that there will be two more paddles this year, coming up in July and August, so stay tuned for those!
Are you pining for a paddle? Join FLM and guide David Rupp of IndiGo Birding Nature Tours for a paddle into the remote Middle Fork of Salt Creek in the headwaters of Lake Monroe. We’ll spend about 2 hours on the water looking for birds and other wildlife while discussing the history of the area. The Crooked Creek boat ramp is located at the south end of T.C. Steele Rd. in western Brown County. This FLM member event is FREE and includes the use of boats and PFDs- but limited to 10. Participants should wear proper paddling attire and bring their own snacks, hydration, and camera/spotting gear. (Dry bags suggested for non-waterproof gear.)
FLM and Indigo Birding Nature Tours are providing eight kayaks and one canoe along with PFDs. You may bring your own boat if you prefer.
This FLM member event has limited capacity so RSVP early. Not a member? Join today
